Summary/Objective:

Installing and servicing various roof systems such as PVC, TPO, EPDM, Modified, Coatings & Metal Systems.

Essential Functions:

• Receive instructions from supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Abide by all OSHA and Houck safety guidelines.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Erect scaffolding, set up ladders, or working out of aerial equipment.
• Install protection on adjacent surfaces.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Remove and dispose of existing roofing material.
• Carry and place various materials for installation.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment, with proper training.
• Apply adhesives in a variety of techniques
• Install flashing and associated trim.
• Clean construction sites and eliminate possible hazards.
• Ability to work, stand for extended period in all types of weather.
• Ability to climb up & down a ladder and work from heights.
• Ability to lift & carry 50+ lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory requirements.
