As a Garage Door Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of overhead doors for residential and commercial properties. Your primary goal will be to ensure safe, efficient, and functional entry systems for our clients. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Install and assemble garage and overhead doors according to sales orders, manufacturer's guidelines, industry standards, and customer specifications.- Conduct accurate measurements and assessments of installation sites to ensure proper fit and functioning of the garage doors.- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.- Perform post-installation checks on garage doors, including lubricating moving parts, adjusting springs, and tightening hardware.- Remove and dispose of existing doors, when needed.- Safely operate power tools, hand tools, and equipment necessary for installation and repair tasks.- Help with unloading of deliveries and other warehouse activities, as needed.- Adhere to safety guidelines and always maintain a clean and organized work environment.- Complete necessary paperwork, such as job orders, installation reports, and service tickets, accurately and promptly.QUALIFICATIONS- Ambitious, inquisitive, helpful, and humble, with a positive attitude- Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work with precise measurements- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, including use of power tools and similar equipment- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, bend, and work in various weather conditions- Strong customer service and communication skills- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
