What You'll Do
- Support and manage a wide variety of land development projects, from planning to approvals.
- Design and review stormwater management systems, grading, utilities, and site plans.
- Interface with local boards and state agencies to obtain NJDEP, NJDOT, and Pinelands approvals.
- Prepare and submit applications to various government entities and address reviewer comments.
- Collaborate closely with the owner and other team members to ensure timely project delivery.
- Occasionally oversee contractors and support construction phase services.
What Were Looking For
- EIT certification required; PE license is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in civil/site design, preferably with a focus on NJ land development.
- Working knowledge of NJDEP regulations, land use approvals, and permit processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrocad, Microsoft Office, and related design tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-driven, low-maintenance professional who wants to learn and grow without needing micromanagement.
- Must be local to Ocean/Monmouth Counties, NJ or nearby areas and able to be in-office 4-5 days per week (1 remote day/week may be considered).
