Industrial Maintenance Mechanic- 2nd Shift

Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Location: Philadelphia, PA

What's the Job?

• Visually inspect machinery and equipment for defects such as breakage or excessive wear.
• Repair production or processing equipment, specializing in troubleshooting and repair of modern automated equipment.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineering staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment and maintain operations of systems such as pneumatic and hydraulic.

What's Needed?

• Flexibility to work overtime including weekends when necessary.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable assistance.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, with production rooms kept at a constant 32 degrees (and below in certain areas).
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Military experience is welcomed.
