Job Responsibilities:
- Assists Construction Administration team to facilitate project communication between the construction and design teams to ensure the design intent is achieved allowing the project design teams to focus on current projects in the design process and consults with them on discrepancies in submittals/shop drawings and RFIs that need design attention.
Job Duties:
Assist Construction Coordinator II & III
- Observe construction activities and document conformance with approved construction drawings/plans, project requirements, standards, and specifications
- Report exceptions or deviations from approved plans, specifications, and/or construction issues to project manager, construction contractor supervisor, and/or other appropriate party
- Prepare prompt and accurate daily field reports summarizing daily field operations/installations, plan deviations, and corrective actions
- Review and process all construction administrative tasks such as finishing submittals, shop drawings, and all RFIs in a timely manner
- Communicate on a regular basis with the Construction Administration team leaders.
