Estimator / Project Manager - Fire Protection Location - Wilmington, Delaware / Lancaster County, PA Role Overview: Estimate, prepare proposals and budgets for fire protection projects Manage projects from bid award to closeout alongside installation project managers Build and maintain relationships with general contractors and business partners Key Responsibilities: Interpret and apply NFPA 13 and related fire protection codes for accurate estimates Prepare clear, competitive project proposals Review pre-bid documents and attend pre-bid meetings Submit final bids and proposals; document and follow up on bids Perform on-site estimate surveys Review contracts for scope and compliance Manage project change orders Collaborates With: Vice President of Operations Design Manager Estimating Team Business Manager Contract Administrator Service Manager (for coordinating materials and tools on small projects) Required Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Understanding of building construction and mechanical systems
