Associate Civil Engineer

We're looking for an Associate Civil Engineer to support the full lifecycle of assigned projects-from design and permitting to completion-under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer.

Salary: $71,000 - $95,000/yr.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, flex between 7am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop water, wastewater, and other civil infrastructure projects.
• Draft detailed construction plans using AutoCAD.
• Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies such as the EPA, DHEC, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and more.
• Conduct engineering studies and prepare cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting and contractor selection processes.
• Provide project oversight for outside engineering consultants.
• Offer technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications: Engineering degree with a focus on civil design associated with water systems. Degree with preference for design of water and wastewater infrastructure; registration as an EIT in the state of South Carolina required within 24 months of hire.
