Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer, under the administrative direction of the Director of Public Works, performs engineering support services, including long-range capital planning, design oversight, plat and plan review, project management, and construction management for public and private infrastructure projects in the Village of Oregon. The Civil Engineer supports a wide variety of projects across Public Works, the Water Utility, the Wastewater Utility, Parks, and Facilities. The Civil Engineer also provides support to the Community Development Department, including coordination with the Village's Building Inspection team and assistance in Zoning Code enforcement. The Civil Engineer is a professional engineer with a broad background in civil engineering primarily based in municipal environments. As a collaborative professional, the Civil Engineer works with internal teams, engineers, the Village Board and Committees, and external agencies, both public and private.

Salary Information

This is a salaried position with an annual starting salary between $84,448 and $108,576, depending on qualifications. Benefits include excellent health insurance, generous vacation and floating holidays, sick leave, holidays, and the Wisconsin Retirement System.
