About The Role:

This role is being offered on a fixed term basis to cover maternity absence

Working Days: Business needs mean that applicant needs to be flexible in working hours. This could include occasionally starting work as early as 3am and finishing as late as 10pm completing 8 hours of work. Typically shifts will be be worked between 9am and 5pm but there is flexibility in these hours

OCS are looking for an experienced Area Contract Cleanng Manager, preferably with Healthcare industry background. As an Area Manager, you will be the go-to person for making sure everything runs smoothly across multiple sites. You will implement operational procedures, provide strategic and tactical support, and ensure everything meets ISO standards. You will also oversee staff to make sure services are up to scratch and within budget. Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and decision-makers is key. It's a role that keeps you on your toes and lets you make a real impact.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement operational procedures for the company.

  • Ensure ISO compliance on-sites in the managed portfolio.

  • Oversee the management of cleaning provided by staff and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with the service level agreements and budgetary considerations.

  • Assist in the development of proposals including client liaison, input into design and developing proposals for the ongoing maintenance of operations.

  • Set and oversee the budgets for each site within your managed portfolio.

  • Project Management of new initiatives from inception to successful completion.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
  • Experience of managing outsourced commercial contract cleaning, gained ideally in an healthcare environment.
  • Computer literate - Microsoft packages including Excel, Power BI and the use of people management software.
  • IOSH (Desired).
  • IWFM Membership (Desired).
  • Multi-Site management experience (Desired)
