Summary of Position

Kinsley is seeking Forman, Equipment Operators and Laborers to join our growing civil site crews in North East, MD. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Equipment operators will need to possess prior experience operating loaders, and backhoes.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions

FOREMAN

Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.

Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors

Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.

Responsible for the production process

Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment to complete the job.

Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Operates various heavy equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety standards.

Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of construction practices and site requirements.

Ensures equipment is maintained through regular checks and servicing.

Performs additional responsibilities as necessary to support the team and achieve project goals.

GENERAL LABORER

Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment

Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards

Use various hand and power tools

Assist with removal of fine grade stones along curb lines and sidewalks

Take and understand instructions from crew leaders

Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements

Knowledge of underground utilities and general construction processes.

Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as track loaders, graders, or similar machinery.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a safe job site environment.

Punctuality and dependability are essential.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
