Job Description


Service Project Manager - Estimator is responsible for increasing the company's efficiency and effectiveness by maintaining financial organization and tracking of electrical project Roles and Responsibilities: Increase the company's efficiency and effectiveness by maintaining financial organization and tracking of electrical projects Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build and plans and specs work Create, maintain and upgrade the company estimating system, database (units and prices) and assemblies Manage assigned projects from start to completion Organize information so the Project Managers can purchase materials directly from data generated in AccuBid Prepare permits, project schedule, PO buyouts, project strategy, submittals, shop drawings, budget and schedule of values for project start up Maintain daily affairs to stay within budget, address change orders, and prepare billing with project teams Maintain project organization and tracking to include subcontractor performance, material tracking, and coordination of submittals by other trades Execute project close out including preparation of O & M manuals, review/submission of as-built drawings Demonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT: People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships Job Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' project controls/coordination experience and/or electrical estimating experience Excellent quantitative and analytical skills Working knowledge of the electrical industry Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a diverse, dynamic, and fast-paced environment Excellent computer skills; Highly competent in MS Office suite, Accubid, Visio, and CAD and capable of learning quickly Motivation, detail orientation, and a refusal to accept second best Working at Weifield: Weifield has been recognized for over a decade as a Top Place to Work!!
