Position Summary: This position performs engineering work related to development, design, and integration of electrical components and software technology involved in Engine development. The position requires strong technical skills in the field of electrical design and product lifecycle management. Key Accountabilities: Design, adaptation & optimization of engine harness design for engine systems for the US market. Development and adaptation of harness designs using 2D and 3D design software Electrical schematic development and detailing Production line support for electrical and/or harness issues First point of contact for customer/field support topics involving electronics or harness systems PLM maintenance for electrical systems and components using Windchill Bill Of Material implementation and management in SAP Support local procurement department regarding technical inquiries Close collaboration with global engineering team and participation in project-relevant meetings, status rounds and regular meetings Creation and execution of electrical validation tests on engine systems, test benches or HIL systems Support engine/system test bench operation and troubleshooting First point of contact for Electrical Engineering questions from other development sites. Support engine data set manipulation for customer specific requirements Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct Perform special projects as required Basic Requirements: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship.
