Our client is a highly reputable Dallas/Fort Worth area general contractor, known for delivering high-quality projects while prioritizing safety and excellence. They are committed to fostering a culture where safety is not just a priority but a core value and currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Safety Manager to join their growing team.

Job Summary:
Safety Manager will oversee all safety operations across our projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. This role will play a key part in developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, creating a safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and programs to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits across construction sites to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Train and educate employees and subcontractors on safety protocols, including OSHA standards.
  • Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and ensure projects meet OSHA and other relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety.
  • Track and analyze safety metrics, providing regular reports to management.
  • Lead weekly toolbox talks and safety meetings to reinforce best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction safety, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, or CSP are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and train others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
