We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various saws and cutting equipment, ensuring precision and quality in every cut. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and meeting quality standards. The Saw Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
Operate saws and cutting equipment, including band saws, circular saws, and other machinery as required.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications.
Measure materials using calipers and other tools to ensure accuracy before cutting.
Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar machining role.
Familiarity with laser cutting and plasma cutting techniques is a plus.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and quality inspection processes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
