CAD Technician-Design

EVAPCO, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of heat transfer equipment for HVAC, Industrial Process, and Industrial Refrigeration applications. Evapco-Iowa is looking for a full-time employee(s) with overtime as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Designing 3D models of parts and assemblies. (Solid Edge)
• Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.
• Assist with product/manufacturing improvements.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.
• Resolve design problems.
• Utilize PDM/PLM software management of drawings.
• Interact with sales, manufacturing staff and managers to complete assignments.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or diploma in Engineering Tech, CAD Tech, Drafting or Design, or 2 years related experience.
• Possess excellent communication, phone and computer skills.
• Ability to work with a team and provide design ideas.
