Position Summary
As a member of the ENTEC Project Management Team, you will help manage the delivery of HVAC, Energy, Retro-commissioning and Building Automation projects throughout the organization. This position will typically engage with projects once the job is sold, then direct resources inside and outside the company to deliver the project on time, within costs and with highest quality. You will be an integral part of numerous projects across our service territory at any given time and be responsible for getting the best results possible.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and coordinating projects by serving as the assistant to project managers on assigned projects
- Communicating with all internal and external team members, including owners, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders at regular intervals to ensure project status and other information is shared appropriately and project schedules are maintained
- Assisting in managing work execution, manpower forecasts, and material resources on numerous projects with multiple project managers
- Coordinating with and helping overseeing subcontractors to ensure their work is completed with adherence to the schedule and to their scope of work
- Scheduling field resources and providing support to ensure an efficient installation, start up, and turnover to the client
- Developing and managing documentation associated with change orders and requests for information
- Assisting with the invoicing of project work completed to ensure positive cash flow
- Maintaining a working knowledge of general conditions, scope of work, schedule, and specifications of each project and keeping all project team members fully informed on the project status
- Ensuring contractual obligations are met including compliance with safety guidelines
- Fostering and developing relationships with clients as well as other contractors associated with each project
Qualifications and Capabilities
Required:
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems, or experience in related field
- Strong customer service skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
- Ability to work well individually and in a collaborative environment
- Flexibility each project may require a custom solution and unique approach
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
- Ability to manage conflict and solve problems
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Construction-related project management experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to kneel, squat, twist, bend, and reach regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, use hand tools with dexterity and grasp and manipulate small objects
- Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, as required
- Ability to regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate phones and computers
Anticipated Salary Range and Employee Benefits
- $55,000 - $85,000, depending on level of experience

Salary Description $55,000 - $85,000
