Quality Control Inspector

Quality Control Inspector - Manufacturing / Woodworking / Quality Assurance
Location: Alpharetta, GA (On-site)
Pay: $55,000-$60,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Our client is a well-established manufacturer supporting the residential construction industry. Known for their craftsmanship and commitment to quality, they specialize in high-volume custom components and maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement.
They are looking for you, an experienced Quality Control Inspector, to join their team in a direct hire role and help strengthen quality standards across multiple areas of production.
What you get to do:
Inspect incoming materials from domestic and international suppliers to identify and flag defects
Rotate through multiple departments, including key finishing and assembly areas
Use shop tools and SmartSheet to conduct inspections and document findings
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve quality issues
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the receiving process
What you need to succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Hands-on manufacturing experience and strong attention to detail
2+ years in quality control within woodworking, cabinetry, furniture, or a similar industry is a plus
Familiarity with defect detection, finishing materials, and inspection tools
SmartSheet experience is helpful, but not required (training provided)
