Position Overview: As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical and logistical aspects of our commercial construction projects. This is a key leadership position requiring a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can effectively manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that all aspects of the project run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all engineering-related aspects of construction projects, including site management, schedules, procurement, and project documentation.

  • Review and approve project plans, specifications, and design documents, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

  • Monitor construction progress and provide updates to project managers, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.

  • Assist with project budgeting, tracking expenditures, and managing cost control processes.

  • Collaborate with field personnel to ensure effective communication and resolution of any onsite challenges.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and other team members, providing leadership and support to ensure their success.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer in commercial construction.

  • Solid understanding of construction processes, project management, and engineering principles.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel to job sites as needed (travel pay provided).

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary between $90,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.
