Architect II

An employer in Louisville KY is looking for a permanent direct-hire Architect II to join their growing team for a 100% on-site role. This salary budgeted for this position is 75K -100K annually. The Architecture III will be responsible for leading a range of medium to large scale projects with clients, stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and vendors. They will lead all phases of design in a variety of projects including industrial, healthcare MOBs, Headquarters, distilleries, and more. This company has a diverse portfolio, 50% industrial work and the other 50% in design! Truly, no day will be the same in this position. Roughly 50% of the architects time will be spent drawling and the other 50% spent on the management side. Some duties of the job include:

Leading a range of projects through all phases of design and construction.

Provide leadership by creating a clear project plans, leading the design process, managing project plans and objectives, budgets, scope, schedule, and deliverables.

Monitor and control the execution of projects while being in compliance with the internal quality processes.

Project Administration and Management (documenting, assisting PM on estimate and cost, contract prep, etc)

Pre-design services (scope of work, space schematics, flow diagrams, surveys, etc)

- NCARB certified

- Experience with permits and managing relationships with authorities having jurisdictions
- Architecture License or Hours completed to get license (KY License preferred* not mandatory)

- BA Degree in Architecture or related field *(would need degree to get architecture license)*

- Experience managing diverse projects from 250K-10 million in budget

- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
