KIT is accepting applications for a Maintenance Technician/Industrial Mechanic for our production facility in Caldwell, Idaho. Monetary and/or vacation day awarded every 90 days for good attendance, KIT offers competitive starting wages of $21-$25 DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical equipment and physical structure:
  • Motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, woodworking machinery
  • Plumbing, hydraulic and electrical and automated systems

Requirements:

  • Must be mechanically inclined with a comprehensive working knowledge of industrial woodworking machines including CNC Routers, Molders, Edge Banders, Beam Saws and Wide Belt Sanders.
  • Performs maintenance functions making repairs in electrical, mechanical, woodworking machinery, hydraulic breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot and perform maintenance duties such as mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Support installation of new equipment and facilities improvements.
  • Basic design and fabrication of repairs and process improvements.
  • Regular attendance is a critical part of all positions at KIT. Must be available to consistently work the required business hours without tardiness, interruption, or early departure, as well as any required Saturday or later evening overtime.
