JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Press Operator tofill an opening immediately in Pittsfield, MA. The qualified PressOperator also known as Print Technician will have the following skillsand abilities with a goal of continued learning to become a RotogravurePrinter: - Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on timefor start of shift - Follows instructions and demonstrates strongattention to detail - Communicates well with others - Ability to work ina fast-paced environment alongside Rotogravure Printer - Ability to lift40 or more pounds - Mechanical aptitude to learn Rotogravure PrintingPress - Completion of vocational training in machine shop preferred -Previous work experience in same or similar field preferred - Ability tosee color - Ability to work on Rotogravure Printing Pess which are 2story high - Interested in the Printing industry A qualified PressOperator will be able to perform the following tasks to include but notlimited to: - Prepare and maintain rotogravure printing press forproduction - Set up and assist the Rotogravure Printer with pressoperation - Maintain job materials inventories and provide a clean workarea - Learn and understand color development techniques If you haveprevious work experience in manufacturing or any hands-on trade, weencourage you to apply!
