Welder Job Description Candidates will be working to weld and repair various large rotors. The role involves interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process. Complying with all safety regulations is essential. Responsibilities Weld and repair various materials. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes. Comply with all safety regulations. Grind various rotors after weld repairs. Travel to customer locations to assist with fieldwork as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in blueprint reading. Mastery of basic math skills. 1-3 years of experience in welding and/or fabrication or enrollment in a welding program. Experience with MIG and TIG welding. Pay $20-30/hour+ based off of interview/weld test and previous work experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42640.00 - $58240.00/yr.
