What Youll Do:
- As Safety Manager, youll own the health and safety programs for our facilityworking closely with leadership, operations, and production teams to keep people safe and compliant. Youll shape our safety culture from the ground up.
- Lead Safety Audits & Risk Assessments Spot hazards and implement corrections
- Ensure Compliance Stay on top of OSHA, EPA, and local safety requirements
- Train & Empower Teams Lead engaging safety training and emergency drills
- Own Safety Reporting Manage documentation and interface with regulatory agencies
- Mentor & Lead Guide safety staff and collaborate cross-functionally
- Drive Safety Culture Build a workplace where safety is second nature
What Were Looking For:

Required:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- 3+ years of safety leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment setting
- Deep knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and best practices
- Experience with audits, investigations, and building effective safety programs
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Nice to Have:
- OSHA 30/40-hour certification, HAZWOPER, First Aid/CPR
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Background in heavy manufacturing or recycling

RequirementsExperience
- Required : Associate or Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Required : 3+ years of experience in a safety management or leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Preferred : Experience in a heavy industrial or recycling environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Required : Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and local safety regulations.
- Required : Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing safety programs.
- Required : Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Required : Ability to lead teams, work independently, and collaborate across departments to achieve safety goals.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
Ability to work in an industrial environment, including exposure to heat, noise, and heavy machinery. Comfortable with handling hazardous materials and working in various industrial conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.Certifications & Training (Preferred but not required): OSHA 30/40-Hour certification, HAZWOPER certification, First Aid/CPR. Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Background & Screening: Must be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screen (Safety first!).
