- Conduct inspections of highway construction projects, ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications.
- Monitor and test materials such as concrete and asphalt to ensure they meet required standards.
- Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
- Coordinate with construction crews and project managers to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies on-site promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
- NICET level II/III certification in Construction or Highway Materials
- ACI Certification with 5 years of experience
- NJSAT certification
- Strong technical knowledge in highway construction, concrete, and asphalt paving
- Proficiency in construction inspection and testing equipment
- Ability to commute around New Jersey
- Experience with NJDOT projects
- Experience in civil engineering or civil construction
- Knowledge of construction management practices
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
