Pool Construction Lead

Location: Oregon

Pay Range: $25-$32/hour (DOE)

A well-established Oregon-based pool builder is seeking a Pool Construction Lead to oversee residential and commercial pool construction and remodeling projects. This role is essential to ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and with the highest level of craftsmanship and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of pool construction and remodeling
  • Make daily decisions to ensure progress aligns with schedule, budget, and quality goals
  • Supervise and mentor onsite crew and subcontractors
  • Coordinate materials, inspections, and project schedules
  • Provide timely and effective communication with team and clients
  • Read and interpret construction plans and scopes of work
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
  • Perform hands-on construction tasks including:
  • Layout, excavation, rebar, plumbing
  • Shotcrete and plaster
  • Concrete formwork, coping, flatwork
  • Tile and masonry installation

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction experience (pool construction preferred)
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in various construction disciplines related to pool building
  • Ability to operate small equipment (e.g., skid steer, mini excavator)
  • Comfortable working independently and leading a team
  • Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to use technology for project updates and documentation
  • Must have your own tools and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs
  • Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods
  • Work on uneven terrain and in dusty or dirty environments
