CAD Technician, New Hampshire

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician Draftsperson to join our Process Design Group. This role involves developing complex technical drawings, creating detailed design models, and supporting a variety of Wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit software, a strong understanding of drafting standards, and a proactive approach to expanding their technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex technical drawings with independent judgment under general supervision.
• Assist in preparing contract drawings for a range of wastewater projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Create design models, plans, sections, schematics, and details.
• Ensure drafting accuracy, drawing legibility, and compliance with general drafting standards.
• Generate clear and precise plans and sections in both 2D and 3D formats.

Essential Functions

• Proactively seek opportunities for skill development through on-the-job training, mentorship, and self-education.
• Communicate effectively through both written and verbal channels.
• Occasional fieldwork may be required, involving moderate physical activity.

Experience

• 3-6 years of progressively responsible experience using CAD/Revit software in a consulting environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil site plan development is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction drawing standards and document organization.

Education

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience with a focus on CAD/Revit software.
