We are seeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer to join our team in Tallahassee. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like Bayonne Bridge and Wekiva Section 6 project.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets along with performing analysis of complex structures
Prepare design calculations and drawings in accordance with applicable design codes, and also prepare engineering reports and other technical documents
Prepare standard construction documents, such as technical specifications and tender documents
Conduct site inspections from time to time and perform other responsibilities as required

On top of that, you will:
Hold a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or higher (Master's degree preferred), be registered as an Engineer in the home state or can obtain within 12 months of employment, and with a minimum of 5+ years of related experience in Bridge Design, or an equivalent
Be familiar with the use of structural design codes such as AASHTO along with having sufficient exposure to structural analysis software programs (ex: SOFiSTiK, CSiBridge, MIDAS)
Be conversant in the use of engineering software such as Excel, and Mathcad to efficiently produce engineering calculations
Be knowledgeable in parametric conceptual designs, the use of programming environments like Grasshopper and Dynamo would be beneficial
Preferably have the experience and ability to prepare proposals and participate in business development along with the ability and willingness to travel
