What a Blackeagle Mechanic can expect to do:

JOB SUMMARY

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, and equipment by performing the following duties:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLIITIES

Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts

Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.

Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.

Repairs or replaces defective parts.

Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.

Lubricates and cleans parts.

Starts devices to test their performance.

Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.

Repairs electrical equipment and hydraulics.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Ability to operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading onto flatbed trailer.

CDL a plus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT/COMMENTS

Work hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with additional overtime and weekend hours as necessitated by the work load.

COMPENSATION RANGE

$19 - $26/hour

$500 hire on bonus

The expected compensation range is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, and other qualifications.
