Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly qualified Health and Safety Manager to oversee and implement safety protocols across our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction safety, particularly incommercial solar projects.Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations.- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.- Provide safety training and education to employees and subcontractors.- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety protocols are integrated into project planning and execution.- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.Qualifications:- Must have Solar Construction experience- specifically commercial solar- OSHA 500 or 510 is a plus but not required.- Must be able to travel throughout Western US states, (all travel expenses will be paid)- Experience in construction safety management- Experience working on commercial and industrial solar projects.- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.- Excellent communication and leadership skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Applications submitted without an updated resume will not be considered.Candidates must live in California or Arizona.Key Words -Environmental Health and safety, EHandS - OSHA 510, solar constructionPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
