Lead Carpenter

Overview**Mallard?Brothers Construction is a fast growing, high-end ADU builder and home remodeler across Thurston County. We're seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team and help us grow, while putting our customers first and delivering uncompromised quality.As our Lead Carpenter, you will run projects from layout to final punch, coordinating directly with project managers, inspectors, and homeowners. This role is 80?% hands-on carpentry and 20?% crew leadership and site coordination---perfect for an experienced craftsperson ready to step up and guide others while still staying on the tools.**Responsibilities**- Supervise and coordinate carpentry projects, ensuring all work is completed to specifications and standards.- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution.- Perform various carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, tile laying, and stucco work.- Soft Skills:?Clear verbal communication, ability to coach apprentices, commitment to zero-injury job sites- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.- Train and mentor junior carpenters on best practices and techniques in construction painting, plumb work, and restoration methods.- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure project goals are met.**Experience**- ?Minimum 3?years stick-framing & finish experience- Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.- Familiarity with construction painting techniques and the restoration industry is highly desirable.- Experience in reading schematics and technical drawings accurately.- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:- 401(k)- Dental insurance- Health insurance- Paid time off- Profit sharing
