THE ROLE:
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to support the assembly and testing of water treatment systems. This role focuses on the fabrication of UL508A-certified control panels, interconnection wiring of treatment skids, and quality testing of system operations prior to shipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring reliable, safe, and code-compliant electrical assemblies that power our water systems.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
Assemble and wire custom UL508A industrial control panels for water treatment applications
Complete field-style wiring of pumps, valves, flowmeters, analyzers, and instrumentation on process skids
Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
Perform I/O checks, point-to-point wiring verification, and continuity testing
Support PLC and HMI quality testing, simulating system inputs and verifying control logic functionality
Troubleshoot and correct issues related to wiring, components, or programming logic
Ensure all work meets applicable UL, NEC, and customer specifications
Document test results and wiring modifications for project turnover packages
Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Automation, or related field preferred
2+ years of hands-on electrical experience in control panel assembly and equipment wiring
Experience in loading and verifying Allen-Bradley PLC programs, ensuring accurate I/O mapping and functional response to simulated field conditions
