Burgess & Niple is looking for a Transportation Engineer, Entry Level to join our team in Louisville, KY.B&N Transportation Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:- Participate in delivering professional transportation design services to a wide variety of clients throughout Kentucky and the region- Collaborate with Professional Engineers and design staff on solving complex engineering problems- Develop roadway design layouts, models, plan sheets, cost estimates, and exhibits- Provide support in roadway drainage design- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines as needed to deliver projectsSkills & Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited program in Civil Engineering - Engineer Intern registration or ability to obtain within 6 months- Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.- Familiarity with Autodesk (AutoCAD, or Civil 3D), or Bentley Products (MicroStation, Open Roads) preferred but not required.- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
