Senior Civil/Site Project Management Leader - Jacksonville, FL Relocation: Will Consider Sponsorship: No Benefits: Yes Remote: No Salary: $160-180k Must Have: 15+ years of experience in site design and project management, PE License, Experience in municipal engineering preferred, federal market experience a plus, advanced degree a plus. The Senior Project Management Lead for Land Development and Municipal Projects will help lead the Civil Site Group in the Southeast office As our Senior Project Management Lead, you will be at the forefront of shaping our land development and municipal projects. This role offers a unique blend of leadership, strategic oversight and technical expertise in the collaborative and forward-thinking environment. What You'll Do: Lead with Authority: Manage and mentor our site development engineering team, guiding projects from conception through execution for municipalities, educational institutions, commercial entities, and industrial sites. Design with Impact: Oversee design efforts including site grading, geometry, ADA improvements, pavement and roadway design, stormwater management, and utility systems. Excel in Project Management: Coordinate with clients, define project scope, and oversee all phases of technical production. Manage project assessments, regulatory permitting, technical documentation, and bidding processes. Develop and Inspire: Mentor and train design staff, contribute to recruiting and retention efforts, and support team growth and development. Nurture client relationships: Prepare compelling proposals, lead project interviews, and participate in business development initiatives. Ensure Quality: Conduct rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews and oversee construction assistance to ensure the highest standards of project execution. What We're Looking For: Soft Skills: -Proven leadership with a track record of managing the building effective project teams. -Strong ability to forge and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. -Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly. -Proactive problem-solving skills and a dedication to mentoring and team development. -Exceptional organizational skills with a strong sense of urgency to meet project deadlines. Education/Experience: -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (advanced degree is a plus). -Minimum of 15 years of experience in site design and project management. -Active Professional Engineer license in Florida (PE) -Experience in municipal engineering is preferred; federal market experience is a plus Technical Skills: -Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Hydraflow, Vehicle Tracking, AutoTURN. -Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
