Job Summary: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Assist the Paint department by painting and repairing boats to produce the highest quality product.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be at least 18 to operate power tools.
EMPLOYER IS LOOKING FOR:
*Must have a good working knowledge of manufacturing process
*Must have working knowledge of automotive paints
*Must ensure materials are being used efficiently with minimal waste
*Must know proper disposal procedures
*Must communicate with all levels of personnel
*Must come to work with a good attitude and be a team player
*Must maintain an above average attendance record
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Understand and efficiently carry out all aspects of the North River paint process for each model of boat
*Assist Painter Helpers in pre-cleaning and ensuring boats are properly prepped
*Read and understand all aspects of work orders
*Keep parts organized neatly
*Maintain a safe and clean work environment
*Must use proper safety equipment for every specific task
*Maintain a high level of quality
*Work to maintain a productive and positive work environment by proactively communicating with your lead and other leads/supervisors in the paint department
*Perform all other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position
WORK HOURS:
4:00 P.M. - 2:30 A.M. Mondays - Thursdays
Overtime as needed to meet production goals
STARTING WAGE:
$18.00/hr including $1.25 shift differential.
Potential for increase after 90 days with good performance
