Assistant Construction Superintendent

Konik is partnered with a growingmercial constructionpany who is adding an Assistant Construction Superintendent to their team.

Assistant Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:

Support on-site construction operations while promoting an incident and injury free (IIF) culture throughpliance and leadership.

Maintain updated construction drawings; assist in scheduling tools, equipment, and materials, and ensure team members are properly trained.

Coordinate with project teams during start-up and close-out phases; contribute to Punchlist processes and Zero Punchlist goals.

Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards, conduct safety meetings, and review trade contractorpliance.

Assist with cost control, schedule updates, and constructability reviews during pre-construction and throughout the project.

Build and maintain positive relationships with trade partners, owners, and design teams.

Support marketing, procurement, and business development efforts by participating in presentations and industry networking.

Assistant Construction Superintendent Qualifications:

Post-secondary or bachelor's degree in construction-related field with 2+ years of experience; or high school diploma with 7+ years of directly related experience.

Familiar with Procore, MS Project, P6, Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, and other construction management tools.

Knowledgeable in reading construction documents, value engineering, and life cycle costing.

Proven track record in supporting safetypliance; OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying climate conditions; capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.

Strongmunication and interpersonal skills with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
