Position Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through a minimum of five years progressively responsible experience in with electrical systems and components, and healthcare facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge and understanding of National Electrical Codes, state and local electrical codes/regulations pertaining to healthcare operations.
  • Advanced computer, program application, and low volt system skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to problem solve.
  • Progressive leadership skills.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver License with no more than 3 points. Journeyman Electrical License. Low Volt Cabling Certification preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent. Journeyman accredited trade program. Advanced education in electrical, computer sciences, computer programming, low volt systems, cabling systems, or equivalent to that which would be acquired by completing a regionally accredited trade or diploma programs.
