About Role:

Responsible for new product development, live order development, product design, maintenance, testing, trouble-shooting and technical support for other departments. Works under general direction of Engineering Management. Additional scope may include engineering analysis.

Essential Responsibilities
  • $20M to $40M typical annual worldwide pump sales for assigned products.
  • Assist in design engineering and product development/VAVE activities of centrifugal pumps for industrial applications such as Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical and related industries
  • Create 3D parametric models and manufacturing drawings using Creo, PDLM tools
  • Interfaces with IP design, field service, and manufacturing locations worldwide as per requirement
  • Able to apply fundamental engineering concepts, practices and procedures
  • Provides timely technical support
  • With supervision, completes assigned technical tasks within agreed upon time frames in support of product maintenance and development projects
Position Requirements
  • B.S. Engineering
  • CAD proficiency required, Creo
  • 0-3 years direct experience with centrifugal rotating machinery in heavy industrial, API, or process applications
  • Knowledge of minimum basic hydraulic and pump fundamentals
  • Knowledge of general manufacturing processes
  • Ability to use conventional measuring tools as needed
  • Superior interpersonal, analytical skills, and communication (written and verbal) to support working with global teams
  • Proactive approach to planning, organization capabilities, and problem resolution. Team player
