Machine Operator - Metal Fabrication

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Machine Operator - Saw - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting various operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator - Saw - 1st Shift

Location: Highland, NY

Pay Range: Starting at $17.00/hr

What's the Job?

• Operate a variety of machines in the factory including sheet metal punching and forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding.
• Interface with other departments to accomplish tasks efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean work area as required to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Perform computer transactions accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.

What's Needed?

• Prefer machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools.
• Metal fabrication experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
