Job Title: Glassing Estimator

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join a reputable glassing company. If you have experience in estimating glassing projects and a strong understanding of the industry, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

• Review project requirements, specifications, and drawings to assess scope and client needs.
• Conduct on-site evaluations and measurements for accurate information gathering.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure understanding and address clarifications.
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze project risks, issues, and contingencies for accurate estimates.
• Present estimates to clients, explaining scope, costs, and considerations.
• Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Maintain accurate records of estimating activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Estimator in the glassing or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of glassing projects and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in estimating software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable looking at Storefronts, custom glass, doors, windows, railings
• Experience working with $250k-$5 million with $1-2 million as the average
• Familiar with PartnerPak and Bluebeam
