About the Role
As a Construction Superintendent - Interiors at Z Modular, you will play a key role in overseeing all modular site-related activities, ensuring seamless coordination between the Z Modular production facility, general contractors, and subcontractors. This position requires hands-on leadership, particularly in interior finishing and modular unit turnover. You will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, managing material vendors, ensuring quality and compliance, and addressing on-site challenges. You will collaborate closely with project managers, production teams, site superintendents, and general contractors, ensuring that projects are completed on time, meet specifications, and adhere to safety and quality standards. This is an onsite role located in Chandler, AZ and Austin, TX.

What Youll Do
Oversees, advises, and coordinates modular construction projects from the production facility through on-site installation.
Collaborates closely with project and production managers, site superintendents, and general contractors to ensure projects meet specifications and QA/QC standards.
Provides timely feedback to the project manager regarding any changes, concerns, or progress updates.
Analyzes and manages emerging issues to mitigate risks and maintain project efficiency.
Directs all modular site-related activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Sources, qualifies, and engages material vendors to support project timelines and cost control.
Maintains and adjusts project completion schedules as needed to expedite module turnover.
Monitors work progress and provides daily reports and weekly summariesincluding manpower updatesto the GM/Mateline Manager.
Produces a three-week lookahead report using the company format, reporting to the GM/Mateline Manager.
Ensures high-quality interior finishes, including flooring, cabinetry, drywall, and fixtures.
Supervises Mateline teams to complete interiors efficiently.
Enforces compliance with architectural and interior design specifications.
Ensures adherence to all construction codes, safety regulations, and QA/QC standards.
Leads and promotes health and safety work practices in accordance with regulatory agencies and company policies.

Who You Are
7-10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, specializing in interior construction for commercial and/or multifamily projects.
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, MS Projects), Procore, scheduling software, and CAE/CAD applications.
OSHA 30-hour certification, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant construction management certifications (preferred).
Eligible to work in the United States.
