Starting pay is $19-$21 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Safely load/unload construction parts to/from trailers using light and/or heavy forklift
  • Unload equipment parts from containers, flatbeds and trailers
  • Operate various construction equipment to accomplish receiving and shipping responsibilities
  • Scale all loads that are pre-loaded for drivers including gross weight, axle weights, and axle groups, and verify road worthiness of trailer
  • Operate hand tools regularly used in loading or yard activity such as banding machines, air wrenches and hammers, or other commonly used hand tools

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
  • Ability to be certified on light and heavy forklifts
  • Steel-toed boots/shoes
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional shop/yard environment. Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain,) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occur during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc. This position will utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printer/copiers.
