PURPOSE OF POSITION: The responsibility of an Apprentice Electrician is to assist the Deer Valley Area Electrician and Utilities Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of electrical components

Operate on heavy equipment, including snowcats, snowmobiles, loaders, back hoes, forklifts, dump trucks, and mountain utility vehicles

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS :

Utah State Apprentice Electrician License preferred

Willing to apply for Utah State Electrical Apprentice License and attend apprenticeship courses

Able to lift and carry heavy loads

Able to work in varied weather conditions

Experience with building maintenance and heavy equipment preferred
