Our New York office is currently seeking talented, creative and motivated designers to work on complex projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, and master plans.
Candidates for the Junior Architectural Designer position must exhibit a strong design sense, sound technical skills, and an ability to contribute to a creative process to develop innovative design concepts and solutions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following attributes:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in architecture (full-time)
- Strong graphics, design, organization, and communication skills.
- High proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, and fluency in Revit is a plus.
- Excellent skills in 3D Modeling (Rhino) and Rendering (Enscape, V-ray).
- Outstanding graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ability to communicate design ideas and direction clearly and effectively.
- Collaborative and professional work ethic.
- Basic knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building codes.
- Excellent problem solver with good listening skills and strong follow-through.
- Experience with multi-family, commercial, or mixed-use building design preferred.
Compensation
BBB offers fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $58,000 - $66,000, with variations depending on experience, education, achievements, and business needs. Employees may also receive an annual performance-based bonus and salary increase.
