Junior Architectural Designer - New Construction, Multi-family, Mixed-Use

Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners LLP is an award-winning architecture and urban design firm committed to design excellence. Founded in 1968, we have offices in New York City, Washington DC, D.C., Miami and Boston. Our New York office is currently seeking talented, creative and motivated designers to work on complex projects, including residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, and master plans.
Candidates for the Junior Architectural Designer position must exhibit a strong design sense, sound technical skills, and an ability to contribute to a creative process to develop innovative design concepts and solutions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following attributes:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in architecture (full-time)
• Strong graphics, design, organization, and communication skills.
• High proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, and fluency in Revit is a plus.
• Excellent skills in 3D Modeling (Rhino) and Rendering (Enscape, V-ray).
• Outstanding graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to communicate design ideas and direction clearly and effectively.
• Collaborative and professional work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent problem solver with good listening skills and strong follow-through.
• Experience with multi-family, commercial, or mixed-use building design preferred.

Compensation

BBB offers fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $58,000 - $66,000, with variations depending on experience, education, achievements, and business needs. Employees may also receive an annual performance-based bonus and salary increase.
