Executive Director, Construction Trade Association

The American Subcontractors Association of Metro Washington (ASAMW) seeks a dynamic
Executive Director to lead all association activities, driving the promotion, advancement,
education, and training of the construction industry within our chapter area. Reporting to the
Board of Directors, the ideal candidate will administer association operations, manage staff,
develop and implement business plans, oversee budgets, and cultivate strong relationships with
members, related associations, and legislative groups. This pivotal role requires a college
degree with 5+ years of managerial experience, including expertise in administration,
budgeting, membership, meeting/convention planning, legislative affairs, and technology, with
association management experience preferred. The Executive Director must possess
exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead,
make sound judgments, and effectively represent ASAMW's interests.
