Forklift Operator Job Description Join our team as a Forklift Operator in a dynamic manufacturing environment that produces small metal parts for Toyota vehicles. This role involves working with large stamping presses, small machine welding stations, and production lines to ensure efficient operation and high-quality output. Responsibilities Operate forklifts to move materials and products around the facility. Collaborate and communicate effectively with warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and initiative. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Be prepared to perform various tasks, including lifting and labor, with a 'no job is too small' attitude. Handle materials and manage inventory effectively. Load and unload trucks efficiently. Essential Skills At least 1-2 years of forklift experience. Recent forklift experience with a strong safety record. Ability to stand on feet for 10+ hours a day and lift 30+ lbs repeatedly. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment. Capability to interpret and understand all work instructions. Completion of necessary paperwork related to the position. Additional Skills & Qualifications Forklift certification is a plus. Experience in production, assembly, order selecting, inventory management, and material handling.
