Mechanical Design Engineer (mechanical engineering exp. req.) Description
Our client, an international industrial manufacturer, is looking to add a Design Engineer to their team in Lenoir County, NC. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hydraulic systems. Their solutions help keep their clients’ equipment moving and with customers spanning from aerospace to automotive and agriculture to wind turbines, you can feel secure making this transition since their business is not tied to only one industry (and therefore, potential industry economic shifts). Additionally, this role allows you to partner with customers to help customize their applications around their specific design needs making this a perfect match for someone who is covets working for a company that has less of that “off the shelf” product and more of that custom engineered solution. In this position, you will have the best of both worlds. The backing of a global company but the tight-knit, culture-focused atmosphere of a smaller team in the US. Whether you’re coming from the automotive industry working long hours more sensitive to reduction in workforces or are just looking for a chance to be less of a small cog in the machine, this is a solid opportunity to work on innovative products across a myriad of industries without compromising your work/life balance.
