Reports To: Project Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Temporary Commercial Interior and Exterior Painter to support a short-term painting project. This position involves preparing surfaces and applying paints, stains, and coatings to both interior and exterior surfaces of commercial buildings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of producing high-quality finishes while working efficiently to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming
• Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and job specifications
• Protect surrounding surfaces and equipment during painting
• Maintain painting tools and ensure proper cleanup of work areas
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet tight project timelines
• Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and job site protocols
• Perform final touch-ups and ensure quality control

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of commercial painting experience (interior and exterior)
• Familiarity with various surface preparation and paint application techniques
• Ability to work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing quality finishes
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lifts, or aerial work platforms
• Knowledge of specialty coatings or commercial-grade paint systems
• OSHA safety certification or equivalent training
