HPS- Welder

Job Title: Welder
Our client in Madison Heights is looking for a welder with experience working on warehouse and industrial storage rack systems. The ideal candidates should be able to perform metal fabrication, welding, and plasma cutting while also handling the installation of dunnage and other rack-related components. This position does not require full-time welding but requires strong experience in rack fabrication and installation.
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

• Fabricate, modify, and assemble industrial storage racks using metalworking tools.
• Perform welding (MIG/TIG preferred) and plasma cutting as needed for rack fabrication.
• Install racks, dunnage, and other structural components in warehouses or industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure proper alignment, stability, and safety compliance of installed racks.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on time.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.

• Positive, can-do attitude
• 2+ years assembly experience
• High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent
