Senior Mechanical Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a consulting engineering firm that provides design and engineering services. This is a full - time position based out of the Towson/Cockeysville, MD area on a hybrid work schedule.

Essential Duties of the Senior Mechanical Engineer :

• Development of mechanical design drawings and specifications.
• Calculations associated with all manner of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection designs.
• Cost estimating associated with designs.

Qualifications of the Senior Mechanical Engineer :

• B.S. and 5-10+ years of design experience.
• Certifications/Licenses such as: PE, EIT, or passing the FE exam.
• Experience in the MEP (mechanical electrical plumbing) industry.
• Strong design background with Revit and/or AutoCAD

Compensation for the Senior Mechanical Engineer :

• $150,000 - $200,000 (based on experience)
