Journeyman/ Apprentice Sheetmetal- Belgrade

This position is for individuals with a strong work ethic and who already possess the skills needed to work as a sheet metal apprentice or journeyman.

As a Sheet Metal apprentice, you will learn the foundational elements of:

• Planning the layout of, repairing, and installation of sheet metal products and parts.
• Putting your technical and mathematical skills to use operating tools and machines and taking measurements according to blueprints.
• Our apprenticeship has required book work in conjunction with in-person education and on the job training (OJT) hours

As a Sheet Metal Journeyman, you will:

• Use the skills and training learned as an apprentice daily to fabricate and install ducts in commercial construction projects (both new builds and retrofits)
• repair and install sheet metal products and parts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Understands the value of safety
• Compliance with Central's drug free work-place policy
• Ability to lift heavy materials and tools
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
• Math skills are a must
